Both my husband and I have had amazingly positive experiences, whilst attending the Breast Clinic, at Broomfield Hospital. We were treated kindly and sympathetically by all staff, with openness and frankness. Miss Dua was a friend from the start, but always professional too. She was interested in my lifestyle and although acting entirely correctly surgically, always bore in mind, my desire to get back to my active way of life. We will be sorry not to see her on the one hand, but hope that our paths may cross again, in less worrying circumstances. Thank you very much, Sascha, for all you have done.

I met Miss Sascha Dua when diagnosed with breast cancer. From the time of meeting her she was compassionate, sensitive and was extremely clear in her explanation. She was kind and treated me as a person. She was extremely sensitive to being a female and what this diagnosis may mean in terms of body image and the effects and this was clear in her explanations and warmth of discussion. She operated on me and again showed great compassion and sensitivity. She was good natured and engaged with my family, friends and myself in with a friendly, warm yet professional approach. It was obvious that she enjoys her work and has an extensive knowledge in her field. I would highly recommend her to anyone that is experiencing this condition and any other condition under her specialism. Miss Dua and the whole team has been fantastic. In my opinion, I consider that other consultants could benefit from her style and approach. I am aware that the NHS is under change, considerable time constraints and funding aspects, however I did not sense any of this when attending the appointments and operation with Miss Dua, she still worked within the time frame, yet I did not feel rushed. Her communication skills are excellent. I trusted her within minutes of engaging with her. Thank you.

From start to finish she and all the staff did a first class job and put me at ease and kept me fully updated. I do not think that I could have been looked after by anyone else better, well done a first class job.

I wasn't even going to go to the doctors....fast forward to "I'm afraid you've got breast cancer" and after that I didn't hear another word. However, along with further emotional support from her team, every single step of my situation was explained with patience and care by my surgeon Sacha. I felt special, I felt cared for and above all I totally trusted her, 100%.She was literally with me every step of the way, and not only did Sacha spend time with me, she also took the time to engage with my family, a really nice thing to do. Now 8 months after my op, at a recent check up in Broomfield I was greeted by name and with a warm embrace. Need I say more. What a wonderful lady, and what a supportive team. Thankyou all from the bottom of my heart xxx
